LODGING INFORMATION:
NSA Mid-South has two types of on-base accommodations to choose from,
if guests desire to use them (for those able to get onboard the base):
Navy
Inn - Millington
Located on the south side of the base, this high quality transient
lodging facility operates with non-appropriated funds support. The Navy
Inns at NSA Mid-South are the ONLY one of its kind. The concept was
initiated locally as a pilot program in order to provide quality,
affordable lodging to Bureau of Naval Personnel customers (for
selection board members). Currently, there are 226 guest rooms and 18
suites – all of which are handsomely appointed. Active
duty, retired military, reservists, as well as spouses and other
relatives may use these accommodations. A newly renovated fitness
center is located nearby. The Navy Inns also offers a free breakfast
buffet, as well as a myriad of other services/amenities.
Navy
Lodge - Millington
Located on the north side of Navy road, across from the base, the lodge
has 49 units with family accommodations, including kitchenettes.
Fitness center and golf course and within walking distance or short
drive.

Meehan-Shelby Forest State Park:
The park campground provides 49 campsites equipped with table,
grill, electrical and water hookups. A modern bathhouse provides hot
showers. There is a dump station for self-contained trailer rigs. Sites
are available on a first-come, first served basis, however reservations
may be made well in advance through the visitor center. Maximum stay
limit is two weeks. Reservations may be made for campsites and
