Update from John "Irish" Keilty

Congratulations to the TCVA OKC Chapter and all of the volunteers who made today such a meaningful success!

On Juneteenth, during the Father’s Day Cookout at the Norman Veterans Center, TCVA OKC Chapter teammates Roger Camp, Terry Frank, Gary Foster, John Keilty, and Steve Mills joined forces with Signature Hospice and the Moore American Legion to help serve nearly 400 veterans and family members. It was a tremendous day of service and a great day for Navy veterans supporting fellow veterans.

There is something truly inspiring about spending time at a veterans home and seeing staff, families, and volunteers working together to care for America's heroes. It is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by those who served and a source of gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy.

The day continued with another special event as 16 TACAMO Sailors were honored guests of the Oklahoma City Comets baseball team. Through the efforts of the TCVA OKC Chapter, the sailors enjoyed a complimentary stadium suite and balcony at Bricktown Ballpark, a catered dinner, and commemorative ball caps.

Bravo Zulu to everyone involved for representing the TACAMO community so well and for continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of veterans and their families.
