Thirty four years ago on May 29th, the TACAMO Wing was commissioned. A stellar commissioning party included Vice President Dan Quale and VADM Jerry Tuttle. Captain Andy Riddile had just departed the White House as Quale's Senior Military Advisor. VADM Tuttle was Director of Naval Communications in the Pentagon.

TACAMO Fallen - Norm Graves, VQ-3
From Master Chief Ron Fox, Norman Barnard Graves Jr., 76, died Sunday. He was born in Hawaii on Aug. 27, 1949, and lived in Tracy, California for the past 17 years, and was a military veteran. Tracy Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements, and there are no services planned at this time. November 8, 1965 - May 1, 2026 Tina Lyn Kiker, 60, of Midland, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on November 8, 1965, in Paragould, Arkansas, to William White and Ada Virginia White. A spiritual woman, Tina spent much of her free time volunteering at an animal shelter, fueled by her love for dogs.
