Conn L. Berkshire, 55, of Peru, passed away on Feb. 14, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He is survived by his children, Adrienne Berkshire, Nicholas Berkshire and Jesse Berkshire. No services are planned at this time.
"Not sure why I didn't see this earlier, but I stumbled across this last night. I wasn't aware that Conn had passed. Conn and I were barracks roommates and friends at NAS Barbers Point in Hawaii. We played music together all the time, went to concerts, hung out on the beach.. He was one of my best friends back then. We went to see one of the most amazing Rush shows I can recall together. We pitched in together to buy the red '68 Dodge Dart in my pictures, and put the engine from the pictured green '71 Valiant in it. We lost touch for a while when he left Hawaii, but reconnected over Facebook many years ago. Even though I haven't seen him in over 35 years, I still feel a lot of sadness over his passing. Godspeed my brother. RIP"
