TACAMO Fallen Veteran - Ed Harlan, VQ-3 DET 19
Passed away on 16 Oct 2020.
Ed Harlan (Pictured above) was a copilot for Ron Carlson when VQ-3 was just starting as a Det to the VR and then VW squadrons. He was with Ron picking up the first Hercs and flew around the world with Ron and Jack Reese in 64.
TCVA recognizes his service to the nation and TACAMO and we honor him as a TACAMO Fallen. We just don't know where he served after TACAMO. The 3P on Ron's round the world flight LT Don Blair provided info on his passing.
Ed's funeral service to be announced at a later date. Ed and his wife ,Roberta, lived in the Bremerton, WA area. Funeral home: Tuell-McKee Crematory and Funeral Bremerton, WA.
